Brief

RideOn eBikes has never been just another bike shop. From the very beginning, the ambition was bigger: to create a lifestyle brand that inspires adventure, champions sustainable transport and builds a community around the freedom of riding.
Our job was to create a digital presence that matched that ambition.

From a complete Shopify website build and brand evolution to photography, creative direction and strategic business development, T2 Design has helped shape RideOn into a business that’s ready to compete on a national, and ultimately international stage.

The Challenge

The e-bike market is fiercely competitive. Customers aren’t simply buying a bike, they’re buying into a lifestyle, a community and a brand they can trust.

RideOn needed a website that was every bit as exciting as the products it sold. Fast. Immersive. Mobile-first. Effortless to shop. A site that didn’t just list products but created desire.

At the same time, the brand itself needed to mature. The logo, visual identity and overall creative direction had to evolve into something stronger, more confident and capable of standing alongside some of the biggest names in the cycling industry.

The website also needed to support multiple areas of the business, from e-bike sales and hire to workshops, servicing, accessibility, lifestyle products and future expansion, all while maintaining a seamless customer experience.

Our Approach

We built RideOn on Shopify from the ground up, creating an ecommerce experience that’s slick, fast and unapologetically bold.

Every page was designed to capture attention within seconds, using striking photography, engaging layouts and clear customer journeys that make browsing feel effortless. Performance was just as important as aesthetics, with the site optimised to load quickly and provide a smooth experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Alongside the website, we evolved the RideOn identity. Rather than abandoning the existing brand, we refined it,creating a cleaner, stronger visual language that feels equally at home on a shopfront in Cornwall, a premium e-bike frame or an international marketing campaign.

Photography played a huge role throughout the project. Rather than relying on generic product imagery, we focused on capturing the RideOn lifestyle, the adventure, the coastlines, the people and the personality that make the business different.

But our involvement didn’t stop when the website launched.

Working closely with the RideOn team, we’ve helped shape the wider business through strategic workshops, creative consultancy and ongoing business development. From identifying new revenue opportunities to refining customer experiences and strengthening the overall proposition, we’ve helped build a business that’s constantly evolving.

The Bottom Line

The best brands don’t simply sell products. They build movements, communities and experiences that people want to be part of. RideOn isn’t just selling electric bikes. It’s building the future of electric mobility, and we’re proud to be helping shape the journey every mile of the way.

Feedback

“T2 Design has played a huge role in the evolution of the RideOn brand. They didn’t just build us a fantastic Shopify website – they helped shape the business. From refining our identity and producing incredible photography to challenging our thinking through business development workshops, they’ve become a trusted creative partner. The result is a brand we’re genuinely proud of and a website that performs as well as it looks.”
