Brief

Informed by a background of leadership the music and advertising industries, on top of decades of experience in the yacht industry, the company’s founder sensed that the world of Superyacht marketing had gotten stale and was crying out for a fresh approach.
Taking influence from contemporary art and nature he wanted to stand out from the myriad of stuffy unimaginative marketing commonly on display from other superyacht brands at industry shows.

Merging vintage photography and poetry with carefully curated images of new superyachts, the brand sought to capture perspective buyer’s imagination by invoking nostalgic visions of experiencing and owning a brand new superyacht courtesy of the most sought after brands in the game.

The Challenge

Poolhouse was initially invited to help create a single landing page to act as a business card site for SEA Yacht Group’s founder. Something to refer to whilst selling his vision to perspective brand partners and clients.

On the back of this successful first phase we were tasked again to expand the design to a multi page site, adding in fresh typography and a refined colour palette to showcase a limited range of Superyachts alongside an extensive range of more modestly priced luxury day yachts.

This phase included a network of enquiry forms throughout the site carefully adapted for each brand’s landing pages. Alongside a full CMS to allow for continued updates to the product pages to reflect updates each brand was continuing to make with each product. We also stayed onboard for monthly maintaining and helping out with more complex updates as needed.

More recently we were once again tasked with Implementing the most ambitious phase. A full company rebrand alongside showcasing the full ranges of two of the luxury yachting world’s biggest stars, Italy’s creme de la creme of superyacht brands Sanlorenzo and Bluegame.

Our Approach

After many in depth discussions allowing us to understand the finer details of the project, Poolhouse worked alongside SEA Yacht Group’s in house branding team to implement the new concepts.

Transforming various ideas and visions into functioning web page designs that could be rolled out to different brand landing pages and hundreds of related individual product pages to showcase each brand’s extensive ranges. Along with video edits, popups, page speed fine tuning, SEO and everything else needed for a successful digital marketing campaign.

The Bottom Line

As with great brands, truly great websites need to be improved over time based on real life results and feedback. Steadily fine tuning as the business evolves and new opportunities emerge. Or in the brand’s own words “Polished day by day like the finest sand”.

Feedback

“Poolhouse are without doubt a great find. Fabulous website. Always available when needed and such a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!”
